Lenten Season 2018

Palm Sunday: Sunday, March 25, 2018

Maundy Thursday: Thursday, March 29, 2018

Good Friday: Friday, March 30, 2018

Easter: Sunday April 1, 2018

  • Private Confession:  The season of Lent is a good time to make an individual confession. In the Book of Common Prayer, it is called Reconciliation of a Penitent. Confession is not a requirement for folks in the Episcopal Church. However, it is recommended and open to all. Father Malone is available for individual confession by appointment. Confession is private and confidential.
  • The Living Compass Lenten Offering:  The Living Compass “Living Well Though Lent” book is available for individuals and groups as a tool to practice “Loving With All Your Heart, Soul, Strength and Mind”.
  • Labyrinth and Stations of the Cross:  The grounds at Christ Episcopal Church are beautiful and spiritual.
  • Wednesday Evening Class:  Wednesdays at 7:00 pm Father Malone will be offering a course called The Soul’s Journey-An Artist’s Approach to the Stations of the Cross. We will explore each Station and have time to journal, reflect, and respond though song, art, poetry and conversation. A copy of the book A Soul’s Journey will be available as a reference. If you would like a copy of the book, go to https://www.forwardmovement.org/Products/2206/the-souls-journey-an-artists-approach-to-the-stations-of-the-cross.aspx.

The mission of Christ Episcopal Church is to SEEK and SERVE Christ in others, loving our neighbors as ourselves.
At Christ Episcopal Church, we believe membership is more than just adding your name to a roster; it’s about connecting with the people and the vision of the church.
We invite you to come to Christ Episcopal Church several times to see and experience the difference our church can make in the life of the world!
